Hazardous Area Enclosures

Orange Instruments offer a bespoke design service for enclosures complying with ATEX Ex’d’ explosion proof hazardous environment requirements, Zones 1 and 2.   Housings can be machined or cast, with or without viewing aperture, and can enclose complete control systems or single instruments. 

Orange Instruments also offer Ex'e' enclosures specifically designed for junction boxes and installations.  These stainless steel enclosures form a crucial role in the production of instrumentation packages, collating all signals ready for a multi core back to the main DCS for the system.

The Instruments designed and built by us are perfect for installation within Ex'd' enclosures, and one of their main strengths is local positioning of actuated valves.  Click for more information on this.

Working with a number of equipment suppliers, such as Cortem, Walsall, Hawke, CMP, Peppers,  Technor, Weidmuller, CCH, and many more has enabled Orange Instruments to offer the complete hazardous area solution.

Complete system builds can include cable assemblies, glanded with flying or terminated leads.

Orange Instruments can also provide engineers for offshore work with certification for UK and Norwegian waters and Malaysia.
